TP's freshman orientation was held on wednesday. it was a 1 night camp that ended on thursday evening. i was damn nervous at the start. didnt know where to go,what to do. saw a long line of students so i just follow and stand in line. monkey see monkey do. haha. so we were told to go to our respective classes. from there we did ice breaking and got to know each other better. after that we learnt cheers but i was too tired as im not used to waking up at 5am so i didnt really participate much. we were then introduced to our lecturers and they talked about what we were gonna study etc. our OL(orientation leaders) told us to bare with it as the fun part is next. we had mass dance where we learn alot of cheer and dance. after that,night walk.it was kinda interesting cause we gotta solve for puzzles to how the students died. the funny part is that the ghost were our very own OL. i could reconise them by their shoes. haha! by the time we ended it was very late. bathed and turn in at around 2+. woke up at 7 and proceed to lecture theater. polished our cheers again and then we had station games. it was freakin fun! everyone got soaking wet. there were games like for example we had to form the longest line using our bodies and things on us. so we stripped our shirts,shoes,socks,wallets and even the cards in them just to make to longest line. then there was this game where we sit in a circle and there was a bucket full of water at the middle. when the music plays,one by one we have to take plastic bags and fill it with water. if the music stops while your filling your plastic bags with water,you will get bombed! everyone will throw their water bombs at you. in the end,everyone has to lie down on the wet floor while our OL's pour water on us. no matter what,your still gonna get wet. hahah! those were only 2 of the games that we played. after we got changed, went to lecture hall for the final showdown. each course had to make up a skit to perform. had fun laughing at different skits. some of the skits mimic the game left4dead. others just dance and cheer. that was the final activity for the day.
we report to LT the next day at 9am and again we revised on cheers,learnt how to check our schedule and got our matrix card. at noon the muslim boys went to prayers. upon returning we went to the sports hall to cheer for idk what reason. we just came and made as much noise as possible. then we went to bedok reservoir for regatta. regatta is an event where schs will take part in the dragon boat challenge,cheers,dance etc. we shout our lungs out but unfortunatly we lost. business sch emerge the champions and they have been for the last 4 years. congrats wan! gold seh. haha. everything ended at ard 7. they had a 'jam & hop' party but i was too shagged to go. met faa and went home together. was invited by OL's to go to sentosa this sunday but i dont think im going as my ez link card is broke. damn this adult fair. sorry for not having any pics. i was too busy cheering and such. just use your imagination!
tomorow im watching fast and furious with my sec sch mates! wooo! its gonna be a fun day! need to enjoy till monday. schs starting and its definitly gonna be stressful. our lecturer told us that we have a test on the 3rd week! damn it. gotta find my thinking cap. now where did i put it...
